Exceptional tree growth ring display of Caucasian/Oriental Spruce (Picea Orientalis in Latin or Dogu Ladini in Turkish) is located at second floor of The Mineral Research and Exploration (MTA) General Directorate History of Nature Museum (TR: Tabiat Tarihi Müzesi) in Turkey capital Ankara. It's accessible from Tuesday to Friday (9:00 - 16:00) with free admission.
This more than 680 years old spruce (its oldest tree growth rings are dated back to 1330) is from locality called Otingo (Istanbul, Turkey). It's owned by museum from 1969.
