This station was built on the water. It's possible to walk there just when the tide is really low. Otherwise, it's not possible, at least not without getting wet. ISN is the national institute for sea rescuing, and it's part of the Portuguese Navy, although it's a civilian institute in most of aspects. ISN is the acronym for Instituto de Socorros a Naufragos, or, Institute for Castaway Rescuing.
