Silver Plume was once an important stop on the Colorado & Southern, being at the top of the Georgetown Loop. It is still important as the western terminus and maintenance facility for the Georgetown Loop Scenic Railway.
This stubby narrow-guage wooden caboose has been lovingly restored and sits on a short section of dedicated trackage in the center of this very small town.
Current Use:
Permanent solo display.
