Located near City Hall and the Grande Parade, the Nova Scotia Sport Hall of Fame has been displaying sports artifacts since it first opened on November 3, 1964 in Halifax, Nova Scotia.

The Nova Scotia Sport Hall of Fame came into existance as a result of J.E.(Gee) Ahern, a Halifax mayor of the 1950's. The Hall of Fame houses a collecton of over 7000 artefacts and photographs that cover all types, eras and people involved in sport in Nova Scotia.

The Nova Scotia Sport Hall of Fame moved into its current home in the Halifax Metro Centre on September 16, 2006.
They have numerous displays in various formats, lockers for individual achievements, a theatre, sports displays and interactive displays. There is also a section devoted to an National Hockey Leagure great - Sidney Crosby who was born and grew up in Halifax.
