The poem is by Ed Burnett and reads:

'You who walk to think,
May seek your path in life;
On the Greensand Ridge.

Be wary, you may stumble like me
Into the spell of a mighty Queen.

She'll whisper you scarlet secrets
To set alight a jubilee sunset

Hope you do not find what you seek
For those who search all their lives
Are blessed with a welcoming road.

Ed Burnett

This plaque is one of seven on the Greensand Ridge Walk by Mid Beds District Council to commemorate the Golden Jubilee of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II in 2002. The words have been provided by residents of Mid Beds to reflect their personal memories of Queen Elizabeth's reign.'

There is a carving on the post of a rabbit amongst the foliage and flowers and a bench is located next to it.
