This plaque is mounted on a circular stone on top of a stone plinth on Lady Lea Road, Horsley Woodhouse. It tells of the site's history and how aircraft engines were recycled and made into tank engines in this area. The full text of the plaque is clearly shown in one of the photos.

The plaque was laid in 2005 and also commemorates the 60th anniversary of the end of WWII.

There are now several industries situated at the side of this plaque. The full text can be clearly read on the photos.
