The associated website is fairly thorough, but in brief, the events in Dallas on 11/22/1963 tend to overshadow many things, including JFK's starting off his day in Fort Worth. This plaza pays tribute to JFK the man, as well as reminding us of Fort Worth's role in the last hours of his life.
