This confluence point is located a few kilometres southwest of Murrumbateman and close to the city of Canberra.

When I visited this confluence in 2004 it was located in the middle of a paddock used for grazing cattle. Although there are unlocked gates 600 metres from the confluence. With hindsight I should have sought the owner and asked him/her for permission.

Recently the land has been subdivided for new housing. A road leads to within 100 metres of GZ. It will interesting to see how it progresses - and whether a house is built on the confluence.
