This sculpture is definitely based on the human form. It is a miniature and muscular female, artistically and shapely nude, a bright silver in colour, maybe 50cm tall, swinging a large ball, with the title "The Force of Nature" (woman). The woman stands on a silver coloured, and elaborate framework. According to the plaque (in gallery) at the base of the sculpture, the woman represents the force of nature—Mother Nature—that will sweep away our (men/humans/engineers) overly proud pretensions, along with the belief that we control the world. An attractive piece of art.

As this sculpture is located at the site of a large pumping station, at the mouth of the Singapore River, where lots of reclaiming and reshaping of land has and is taking place, and as this entire area has been sculpted into one huge tourist/recreation area, this sentiment seems both discordant and timely.
