Willow Beach Scenic Roadside Look-Out - Scenic Roadside Look-Outs on Waymarking.com

When they recently widened US Highway 93 south of Hoover Dam and made it a multi-lane divided highway, they created a very nice Scenic Roadside Look-Out for southbound traffic. It has lots of parking places and a marvelous view of the Colorado River far below. Since the highway department hasn't given it a name (yet) and it is located directly above the Willow Beach Recreation Area on the Colorado River, that seemed an appropriate name for this Look-Out.

There are three interpretive signs on the sidewalk along the west edge of the parking lot that cover a range of subjects.
