Time capsule placed by the McCloud Community Presbyterian Church for its centennial on May 7, 2005 and will be opened in fifty years. The time capsule is located on the west side of McCloud Community Presbyterian Church in the lawn near the stained glass windows.

The church is a two story wood frame structure, a square steeple and gable roof. The original square building was built in 1905 as a single room meeting hall for the Methodist congregation. In 1924, the building was converted to the Community Presbyterian Church and a new sanctuary was built with stained glass windows dedicated to prominent McCloud residents’ memories.
The building is a contributing structure for the McCloud Historic District which was placed on the National Register of Historic Places on March 16, 1990.
