Located in Mazatlan's Center on the northern side of Plazuela Machado, this building has a sign in Spanish and English. The large two-story builind has a balcony surrounding the second floor and is painted burnt orange on the first floor and coral on the second. The English portion of the sign reads:

"Juarez
Building

Construction on the two-story Juarez Building was begun during
the second half of the 19th century. Spaniard Federico Imana, who
created other buildings around Plazuela Machado, is credited
with its design which includes space for both business and
recreational activities. Members of the Great Society (La Gran
Sociedad), the Union or German Club, the Benito Juarez Group and
the Lions' Club all met at one time or another on the second floor.
Over the years, the bottom floor housed business and medical
offices, a hardware store, a pharmacy and a publishing agency.
And in December of 1897, the first motion pictures ever shown in
Sinaloa state were projected in a room of the Juarez Building with
the help of the Lumiere Brothers projector."
