V.F.W. Post 10088 Veterans Memorial is located in the middle of a line of monuments in a small park on Riverside Drive in Thompson, CT.

The V.F.W. of Thompson, CT has erected a plaque and flagpole in honor of all veterans. The flagpole is in the middle of a concrete oval filled with mulch and flies the American and the POW flags. The plaque is embedded in stone at the base of the flagpole. The small bronze plaque has the emblem of the VFW flanked by lily? leaves. Below is the inscription:
