Feira do Cogumelo e do Medronho - São Barnabé, Portugal - Agricultural Fairgrounds on Waymarking.com

Every year in late November takes place this agricultural fairground, dedicated to mushrooms and to "medronho", a berry whith which a strong liquor is produced in these lands. See link bellow for details.

Typically there are stands selling these products (mushrooms and plenty of liquor) as well as other local products, including sweets, jams, honey, sausages. In the evening, live music, and during the day assorted activities, like organized mushroom picking walks with authorized experts, conferences, traditional singing and dancing.
