Its creators, architects Vosges Normier Nicolas and Jean-Marie Hennin, have called "Cathedral of Hope" because it is dedicated to the disabled, "all those who hope to conquer stops at the misunderstanding and fear of others. "The two designers were inspired by the film Jonathan Livingston Seagull and the old aircraft museum at Le Bourget.
The tower is a monument of Saint-Die-des-Vosges, like a great white bird landed in the middle of Mansuy park. It symbolizes the quest of all peoples, freedom.
