Along Clarence Esplanade are many memorials in the aftermath of conflict so it is fitting to see this Peace Garden.

The Peace Garden displays the words Peace and Paix (Peace in French) in topiary, lavender hedging. These are located in a gravel area with more lavender plants and doves created from planting.
A stone plaque on the edge of the garden has an inscription which is quoted below.
