This water tower stands out as it is painted in a red and white checked pattern. It is located in Clanton, Alabama

Even though the paint is a bit faded and there is rust showing on some parts, the water tank is easily visible. It can even be seen from I-65 as one goes north past exit 208 and looks toward the west. The street that gets one closest to the tank is Keystone Drive. This is one of several tanks used by surveyors in this area.
This is also a benchmark with the PID of CN2959. It is listed in the datasheet as Clanton East Municipal Tank.
