The Satyr, a mythical creature of half man and half goat and are deities of the woods and mountains. He was a companion of of the gods Pan and Dionysus. This bronze sculpture was cast in 1924. The artist, Frank ‘Guy’ Lynch, used his brother as his model for the upper portion of the sculpture.
