An old fire fighting vehicle from 1830 is on display in a showcase at the rear side of the firehouse of Aesch.

At the rear side of the firehouse of Aesch there is a display window with an old fire fighting vehicle in it.
It is a green horse-drawn carriage, made from wood. It has an iron and brass fire engine on top. The carriage has the year 1830 and the coats of arms of Aesch and the canton Basel (this was three years before the secession) painted at the front side. There is also a display dummy wearing an old uniform and some other fire fighters equipment.
