This is one of two former mills in Therwil. This one is called Obere Mühle (Upper Mill). The building is from the 16th century. It has been converted into a dwelling, but the water wheel is in perfect condition. The wheel is an iron construction, in contrast to most of the other remaining water wheels in the region that are timber work.
