This small restaurant on southeast 12th street has a pretty good selection of dishes and their prices are moderate. For ages, the locals (including me) thought of it as that scary-looking place with the peeling stucco walls, but a recent upgrade has made the exterior much more attractive (although the interior continues the same dated look). But they have some decent entrees - I enjoyed the Garlic-Ginger chicken.
