Petrified Forest National Park ~ South Entrance - National Parks of the World on Waymarking.com

The south entrance consists of the usual Park sign plus a display of six large pieces of petrified wood. Just south of this entrance and outside the Park are a campground and two businesses whose primary offerings are pieces of petrified wood ranging up to very large pieces valued at thousands of dollars.

The Park road is open during the following hours (Arizona does NOT observe Daylight Savings Time):
