We enjoy eating at the Double Happiness and always come home feeling like we ate too much. They are reasonably priced at $10.95 plus GST and they offer senior rates.
They have an all-you-can-eat daily smorgasbord featuring a large selection and highlighting authentic Calgary style ginger beef.
The smorgasbord has a full line of meat and vegetable dishes, salads, won ton soup, almond chicken, rice, and of course desserts. On most days they also offer seafood items: shrimp, clams, crab legs and/or white fish. And do not forget the fortune cookie: promising you Double Happiness.
Double Happiness features authentic Cantonese and Peking cuisines and seafood from their menu. They also have Western food choices.
This is a great place to eat if you are hungry for Chinese food.
Whenever we have been there they are always very busy.
