Basin Spring Park Fountain - Eureka Springs AR - Fountains on Waymarking.com

Directly in the center of Basin Spring Park in historic downtown Eureka Springs, you will find this beautiful old fountain. It has been here since before the turn of the 20th century. A cherub used to grace the top of the fountain, but has been lost over the years.

Like most fountains here in this cold-winter region, this fountain is turned off during the winter months, but returns to its full glory when the warmer weather arrives. There is no concrete operating schedule - it all depends on Mother Nature, and how cold or warm it is outside. The second photo, from (visit link) , shows the fountain when it is operating.
