This is a statue of König Wilhelm I (William I, King of Württemberg) which is located in front of the art museum 'Alte Staatsgalerie' in Stuttgart, Germany, Baden-Württemberg.

The life-sized statue was created by Ludwig Hofer in 1884.
It shows King Wilhelm I sitting on his horse.

The statue is made of bronze. It is located on top of a red stone basement.

King Wiliam I was the second King of Württemberg from 30th October 1816 until his death in 1864.
