John E Luse b. January 1, 1854, d. July 21 1855, aged 1 year, 6 months and 20 days.
This lovely bud, so young and fair,
Called home by early doom,
Just came to show how sweet a flower,
In Heaven above would bloom.
Ephriam M Luse b. August 11. 1847, d. February 11, 1858, aged 10 years, 6 months.
But there must lay till the resurrection morn,
His body then be changed in the likeness of God's son,
Although he is sleeping beneath the silent sod,
His voice to you is speaking, prepare to meet your God.
This is one of four white bronze headstones in Greenlawn Cemetery. Two of which are for the Luse family.
