There are several homamade grave markers in Mills Cemetery, Northeast of Harrah, Oklahoma. The first three are for A. Burns (1876-1934), F. M. Burns (1904-1938) and D.W. Burns (1908-1939). These markers are hand lettered concrete. The same person lettered the first two as noted by the backwards "N" and similar writing. The third may have been lettered by someone else.
Also near these is a marker for someone named "Lawson". This marker is made of a piece of sandstone. It has very characteristic "L"'s. There are several graves by the name of Lawson lined up near this one. The marker appears to read Ellan Lawson. There are no other markings on the stone, as far as I can tell.
Another interesting grave is that of Millie Bivins. The grave is covered in concrete and there is a hand lettered head stone with nothing more than the name.
