This hometown newspaper is in business for over 100 years. It was originally called the Trail Creek News established 1895.
I visited with the staff and discovered the newspaper is no longer printed at this location, but in Penticton, British Columbia. Penticton is about 300 km NW from Trail and is delivered to the office daily.
The old printing press was dismantled years ago. However, they have on display a 1904 Graphotype address label maker: model G1.
They have Trail Daily Times available inside and also a booklet chronicling 100 years of Trail history.
Always asked why I want pictures, I usually start by asking if they are familiar with Geocaching and proceed from there.
Lonnie was the only one who knew about Geocaching, and I suggested they do an article and to include Waymarking.
