St Georges Basin is a large, relatively shallow body of water which is renowned for fishing & prawning. It drains into the Tasman Sea at Sussex Inlet.
The boat ramp was quite busy when I arrived late in the afternoon with fishers coming & going. The ramp is designed to accommodate two boats & is of cement construction. There is an adjacent jetty, fish cleaning table, ample parking & amenities. There are no lights so best to get back before dark.
