This former school is now an interpretative center in the village of Mealha.

This one room schoolhouse was built during the 50's or 60's to serve the community of Mealha, a small village in Cachopo's area. With the ageing of population the school made no sense anymore. Now it's an interpretative center for the rural lifestyle in the area. It's nice to see all of this going on... there are at least three hiking trails crossing this point and then, this center!
