Zwijndrecht is a city and a municipality in the Dutch province of Zuid-Holland. It originates from the beginning of the 11th century when these lowlands were made dry. The name is derived from an ancient creek called 'Swin'.
Zwijndrecht also was the place of birth of Mr Hebbes.
