Visitors to this law enforcement memorial will see a marble monument with a bronze plaque on the front which says the following words:

IN MEMORY OF THE LAW ENFORCEMENT OFFICERS
WHO LOST THEIR LIVES IN THE LINE OF DUTY.
THEY ARE HEROES NOT FOR HOW THEY DIED,
BUT FOR HOW THEY LIVED.

Below the metal plaque are the words etched in marble:

IN
VALOR
THERE IS
HOPE

There are seven individuals' names on the metal plaque who were killed in duty from 1911 to 1997. Having been born and raised in Klamath Falls I have no recollection or memories of any of the officers killed on duty but will post pictures and obituaries of these individuals in time, since I have access to local historical records. I invite any visitors to this waymark to upload any information on these individuals as they see fit.
