A stone marker placed with the 1896 survey of the Vermont-Massachusetts boundary. Last one before reaching the VT/NH/MA corner to the east (Waymark WMFNZB). Imagine the horse and wagon needed to haul this chiseled monument to this location.

To reach this state boundary monument, take SR142 south out of VT or north in MA. Turn east on W. Northfield Road crossing the railroad tracks. Then a sharp left/north on gravel private road. Marker is roughly 50 feet east into the woods - can be seen from the roadway.
