The memorial to employees of Fort Stanton that served in World War II is located in a small park across from the Fort Stanton Post Office in the small village of Fort Stanton, New Mexico.

There is a small grassy area with minimal picnic facilities in Fort Stanton across from the post office. Next to a mobile howitzer of World War II vistage is a small dressed stone on which is mounted a metal plaque inscribed:

Installed as a lasting tribute
to the employees and patients
of Ft. Stanton who served
their country in World War II
