The chef of Mionga is Mr. Nelito, a young man who started his career in the nearby Roça de São João, which serves probably the best known food in the country. After a while Mr. Nelito decided to open his own restaurant and Mionga was born. The current Mionga is in its second edition, as the first restaurant was in the village. Now the location is much better, offering awesome views to whoever has a meal in the outside space.

Of course, has everywhere in Sao Tome and Principe, fish is the king of the table. But do not ask for a menu because there isn't any. The person serving will recite whatever is about to be presented, and be prepared, it's usually a long list.

Provided opening hours are a guess. In this country it's not usual to use an official timetable.

Prices are awesome! If you wanna eat a lot you will end up paying about 5 Eur. If you pay 10 Eur it means that you eat really a lot and you are totally full.
