Relief called "Baskent Ankara ve Türkiyemiz Rölyefi" (EN: Relief of capital city Ankara and Turkey) was made by artist and sculptor Metin Yurdanur ( (visit link) ). It is located opposite to the Turkish State Opera and Ballet on Attatürk Blv. (Attatürk Avenue). It was unveiled at 22. September 2009.

There're many of motives on relief. Its some kind of cultural map of Turkey. On the really right is symbol of turkish foreign policy too - "Peace at home Peace in the World" (Yurtta Baris, Cihanda Baris), but mainly it's all about heritage. We could find there Hagia Sophia, the Roman ruins, the ruins of Ephesus, Konya Mevlana, Ankara Castle (and other Ankara's buildings), Nemrut etc.
