This bench is a nice sunny corner near to the entrance to the railway station.

It provides a more interesting place to sit compared to the plain seating normally found on railway stations.
The bench is positioned in a corner against a stone wall and the back of the bench is in the shape of a number of young people as though they are sitting on the bench.
The seat of bench is also decorated with a pattern of punched holes. There are also the words Welcome to Slaithwaite Station and Relax.
