Terra Cotta Nature Park was built on the previous site of the Terra Cotta Brick Works. The park contains several kilometers of hiking trails through unmaintained woods and fields. Because the soils under the topsoil are still rich in clays, drainage is a concern and there are several streams throughout the park. The trails are constructed of earth that is packed and for the most part are covered with woodchips. This footbridge allows hikers to pass over one of the streams and can be accessed from either trail number 9 or trail number 11. It is closest to the Coolbreeze Entrance. Free parking is available.
