As they lack a website -- do not be confused by the "Luling City Market" in the Houston area! -- there is a photo of their menu here in the gallery. Brisket is king here, but they also serve terrific sausage and pork ribs. You'll stand in line to get into the enclosed pit, where you order by the pound -- orders after 5:45 are to-go only -- and then they'll wrap up everything in butcher paper, providing bread, pickles, and onions, and then you can pick up other fixins and drinks (soft drinks, beer, and wine) at a counter up front.
A word to the wise: This is certainly one of the most popular BBQ joints in Central Texas, and it is best to arrive comparatively early. I've seen them sell out of things by 2 or 3 PM.
The cheap meal is a ring of sausage for two bucks. Looking to pig out? Order all you want by the pound.
They accept cash only, but they do have an ATM on site.
