These red-painted telescopes are combined viewing and talking machines. A single £1 payment will give one of four commentaries and a short view, a £2 payment will give the commentary and an extended view. Coins accepted are 5p, 10p, 20p, 50p, £1 and £2 and the commentaries available are on the general panorama, Windsor Castle, Heathrow Airport, and the visible skyline. There is the usual warning about supervision of children and not pointing at the sun, and a sales and service mobile number.
They can be found on the edge of the escarpment above 'the bowl' of Legoland.
