The Cotton Hall Theater in Colquitt, GA, was originally a cotton warehouse. This 70 year old building was renovated in 1994 and is now the home to all of the productions put on by the Colquitt/Miller Arts Council. Inside Cotton Hall are the Storytelling Museum, a gift shop of Swamp Gravy souvenirs, a concession stand, and the one of a kind 284 seat theater in a semi-round configuration with over 3 stages.

The main live productions occuring in Cotton Hall throughout different times of the year are:

1) Swamp Gravy - Georgia's Official Folk-Life Play that collects the yesteryear stories of Miller County citizens and weaves them into inspiring, funny, and touching plays suitable for all ages.

2) MayHaw - Colquitt's very own Hee Haw type of a variety show that features funny skits and great singers.

3) Youth Theatre - Each year children and young adults audition in late March, and produces one show during the summer months that gives kids in the Southwest Georgia area a chance to hone their acting skills, build friendships, and have a great time just being on stage. Past Youth Theatre shows have included Alice in Wonderland, James and the Giant Peach, The Wizard of Oz, and Seussical the Musical Jr.

Special productions of Swamp Gravy have been played in Atlanta during the 1996 Atlanta Olympic Games; at the Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts in Washington, DC before both houses of Congress; and in Brazil in South America.
