The “Headin’ Upstream” sculpture consists of seven stainless steel Chinook salmon which are represented as returning their spawning grounds in the Clearwater River. The sculpture was installed in 2005 at the Kooskia Welcome Center site near the intersection of U.S. Hwy. 12 and Idaho Hwy. 13, just north of Kooskia, Idaho. The sculpture was created by David Govedare and Keith Powell.
