Osek is a city at the foot of the Ore Mountains. The town was founded on the trading path to Saxony.
The most famous landmark and tourist attraction is the local Cistercian monastery. Construction of the monastery began in 1206th
Construction proceeded rapidly and already in 1208 he was consecrated the main altar and the cemetery. The monastery gained a lot of land to property and whole villages.

Osek je mesto na úpatí Krušných hor. Mesto vzniklo na obchodní ceste do Saska.
Nejznámejší památkou a turistickou zajímavostí je místní cisterciácký klášter. Stavba kláštera zacala v roce 1206.
Stavba postupovala rychle a již v roce 1208 byl vysvecen hlavní oltár a hrbitov. Klášter získal do vlastnictví spousty pozemku, duchodu i celých vesnic.
