Located in the pedestrian shopping precinct off Commercial Street, in the vicinity of Austin Friars, The Bell Carrier, also known as "The Vision of St.Gwynllyw", was inspired by the legend of Gwynllyw's conversion to Christianity and the foundation of Gwynllyw's (Woolos) church on Stow Hill, Newport.
