This is a silhoutte style weathervane of the University of Purdue's mascot. The "Boilermaker Special" has been the official mascot of Purdue University since 1940. The Boilermaker Special is attached to an arrow with a "P" in the tail section with anemometer cups mounted below. The directional indicators N,E,S and W are positioned above the metal cupola of a newly constructed detached garage. This may not be a popular sight considering this is Buckeye territory!
