"Two birds set on a fountain. The fountain consists of several large stones arranged in two stacks, set in a circular basin. Water flows from one of the stacks into the basin. A bird is mounted atop each stack. The bird on the shorter stack stands in a nest of rods, holding a twig in its mouth. The other bird stands on the taller stack with its wings extended." -Smithsonian Art Inventories Catalog
