The Thurgoona Newsagency is located at Shop 9, Thurgoona Plaza, Shuter Avenue Thurgoona, and provides a wide range of stationery and other products and services including basic postal services. It is open Monday to Friday from 6:30 AM to 6:00 PM, Saturday from 6:30 AM to 4:00 PM, and Sunday from 8:00 AM to 12:00 Noon.
Albury is a major regional city in New South Wales, located on the Hume Highway on the northern side of the Murray River. It is separated from its twin city in Victoria, Wodonga by the Murray River. Thurgoona is a small satellite residential suburb about seven Kilometres northeast of the city centre.
At the time of my visit, during GC2Q4JF Oz Mega Albury Wodonga over Easter 2012, the Newsagency had a display of Easter Colouring Competition entries in the window.
