The town of Piopolis has about 350 residents. There is a beautiful public park across the street from this walking trail that winds thru a lush forest, which is marshy and requires this boardwalk. There is a map showing the trail, and nearby there is also a preserved historic fire hose tower, and parking for just a couple of cars.
