This World War II memorial is located at the Flagstaff Memorial Chapel and cemetery, on Hwy 27, near Eustis, Maine (population 600). The monumet sits very close to the road, adjacent the small, white, wooden chapel. The cemetery holds more than 300 graves, many of them adorned with metal stakes that set them apart as the graves of veterans of many wars.
