Flying Ducks is a metal sculpture of a flock of flying birds, mounted on a west facing protrusion from Lawrence Hall at
University of Oregon. It was done by Tom Hardy in 1983.
Portland artist Tom Hardy is a well known regional sculptor. In 2012, at age 90, Tom closed his studio and sold all remaining tools and works of art.
Somewhat amazing to me, is that the sculpture can be seen in Google Street View, on the pathways of the campus.
From the Smithsonian AIC Description:
Several ducks are in horizontal flight.
